Ustyurt: Landscapes and Aran Hunting Traps mixed heritage site is located within the Ustyurt State Nature Reserve in the Karakiya District of the Mangystau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It encompasses 223,342 ha of the western part of the Ustyurt Plateau within a unique desert region between the Aral and Caspian Seas.
